We recognise how important it is for individuals to remain engaged and to be part of a social group. This is why we have created Switch Socials, a monthly evening group with a timetable of activities that aims to involve people with additional needs at all levels.
Switch Now only uses the most experienced and suitable staff, therefore we can guarantee that the best support is possible for any of our individuals that we are working with.
Who can attend?
Switch Now believe that groups should be age appropriate and reflect similar opportunities that other like-minded individuals encounter, that’s why we aim to offer Switch Social only to young adults (18 – 30 years of age). For all interested parties, a brief assessment of support, care and ability will be required before a confirmation of a place can be made. Note, if personal care or high dependency is required we do not have the capacity to support however, we are happy for individuals to bring own support to Switch Social.
How do I get involved with Switch Socials?
If you are interested in Switch Socials, then please contact us and a registration form will be sent out. Once we have your details we will contact you to discuss your interest and the next step. Once a place has been confirmed, we will arrange payment set up and invite you to access our parents and carers Facebook page (if you wish to) which will be used to keep you regularly updated.
We also encourage the opportunity for individuals to have a say and give us their input into their Switch Social activities. Switch Socials are about everybody being involved and where possible, we will endeavour to create as many opportunities as practically possible, for everyone.
What does Switch Socials cost?
There is fee to attend Switch Socials, payable in advance by BACS. Costs go towards staffing, activities and resources. If you have any questions about this, then please feel free to contact us.

Second or third Tuesday of each month, 7-9pm during term time. Please note: Payment/s should be paid before attendance begins
